Cancellation and Refund
Any Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Terms of Use which govern your use of our website www.schedul.co (the “Website”) and our “Schedul.co” application for mobile and handheld devices
(the “App”). The Website and the App are jointly referred to as the “Platform”.
Customer Cancellation
As a general rule, Buyer is entitled to pre-pay for opting any service with any Merchant or Partner. However, if the Buyer may choose to cancel an Order, Buyer will be refunded subject to Merchant’s cancellation policy that is available in the App for Buyer’s knowledge before making a booking. Also, Schedul.co reserves the right to deny any refund to Buyer pursuant to a cancellation initiated by Buyer even if the same is accepted by the Merchant based on Buyer’s previous cancellation history, and to be followed by suspension of account (if necessary), as may be necessary in the sole discretion of Schedul.co.
If Buyer cancels his/her Order after the expiry of slot timing, Schedul.co shall have a right to collect a penalty of 100% of the Order amount for breach of contract terms as a compensation for the damages suffered by Schedul.co, with a right to either not to refund the Order value in case Buyer’s Order is prepaid or recover from the Buyer’s subsequent Order in case his/her Order is postpaid, to compensate the Merchants and PDPs.
Non-Customer Cancellation
Schedul.co reserves the right to collect a penalty for the Orders constrained to be cancelled by Schedul.co for reasons not attributable to Schedul.co, including but not limited to:
in the event of no show by the Buyer within 5 minutes of their slot timing;
failure to contact Buyer by phone or email at the time booked by Buyer;
Merchant & Partner Cancellation
In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Schedul.co or the Merchant or Partner, Schedul.co shall not collect any penalty from the Buyer and shall process with 100% refund to the Buyer.
As most of the Categories & Services offered by the Merchants & Partners are time sensitive & emergency oriented, there might be delays in fulfilling the appointments for the Buyer. However, Schedul.co provides with live delay monitoring of all appointments such that Buyer is intimated with their rescheduled timing. Buyer will have to report for his/her booking slot at the rescheduled time and Merchant or Partner is obliged to fulfill the service without further delays.
In case of Merchant or Partner is unavailable for some emergency reason for a booking slot, the same will be intimated to the Buyer at least before 2 hours of the booking time. To compensate for the cancellation, Merchant or Partner will offer the Buyer with an alternate booking time as per Buyer’s convenience or Buyer may choose to cancel and get 100% refund.
Refunds
Buyer may be entitled to a refund for prepaid Orders. Schedul.co retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Buyer (as given in the Merchant’s Cancellation Policy) from the amount refundable to him/her.
Buyer may be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the Order value if Merchant or Partner fails to fulfill the Order due to a cause attributable to either Partner or Merchant or Schedul.co, however such refunds will be assessed on a case-to-case basis by Schedul.co.
Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to Buyer’s account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of Buyer’s choice, the estimated timelines may vary from 2 hours to 7 working days.
